On May 26, 2011 we decided to take on a huge project.....knowing that this project would bring us much joy but also knowing that before the end of it...it would probably bring us many challenges.
We bought a 106 year old Farm House located in Hainesville, New Brunswick. I am pretty sure our real estate agent thought we were a little odd when we told her what we were looking for. Never in her wildest dreams did she think that this cat infested, falling down old Farm house would be our dream home.
Brian and I fell in love right away with this charming home...even if the walls were shredded with cat scratchings, the floor was crooked, the ceiling crooked, the roof leaked, it was freezing and to top it off it was 30 minutes out side of the city. But this is what we saw...a beautiful field, lots of land for a garden, post and beam, room for the children and pets to run around, close to the ski hill, a breathtaking view (a sunrise you don't ever want to end).
I want to share with you from the start to the finish as we build our dream..
Bobbi, I can't wait to see more posts here about your country home along with photos of the changes along the way. Thanks for visiting my blog today! Blessings, Pam
